2006 Tax Filing Season The Internal Revenue Service will send taxpayers almost 29.5 million tax packages and about 11 million computer-filing brochures this year.

Tax Help Available The IRS offers free assistance by computer, fax, telephone and in person. The IRS can help taxpayers get forms and publications and answer a wide range of tax questions.

Tax Changes for 2005 Law changes for the 2005 tax year. Items include amount increases, exemption increases, standard deduction increases, child tax credit, sales tax deduction and more.

E-filing No more last minute trips to the U.S. Post Office. Over 60 million returns will be e-filed this year!
