FORT HOOD, Texas (AP) - A U.S. Army spokesman says the Fort Hood shootings suspect is alive and was not killed by authorities responding to the attack. Lt. Gen. The Department of Human Services has cut millions of dollars from the senior citizen nutrition program. These DHS cuts are translating into the closure of seven senior citizen centers in our area run by the Southern Oklahoma Development Association.

- Gober man found guilty of Fannin Co. murder
BONHAM, TX -- A Gober, Texas, man has been convicted of the 2008 murder of a 22-year-old Greenville man. The Fannin County District Attorney's Office says it took a jury less than thirty minutes Tuesday to find twenty-year-old Bo Bailey Harris guilty of stabbing William Ian Adams to death.
- Johnston Co. residents upset over proposed OG&E line
TISHOMINGO, OK -- Oklahoma Gas & Electric is working to build a new electrical transmission line through Southern Oklahoma, but some local residents in the Tishomingo area are fighting the proposed plan. Shelby Levins attended a public meeting Monday night in Tishomingo and has this report.
