8-27-05 – Two teenagers were hospitalized with alcohol poisoning after a drinking party in Healdton, Oklahoma Friday night. Carter County deputies and Healdton Police responded to reports of underage drinking in a rural part of town.
Authorities say a parent called 911 and requested an ambulance. The teenagers spent the night at the hospital and were released Saturday morning.
According to local authorities, back-to-school time is a busy time for police who patrol rural areas and fields – looking for underage drinking parties.
No citations were issued at the Healdton party, but Carter County sheriff’s deputies are still investigating and interviewing people who attended the party.
