8-28-05 - Friends and family are mourning the loss of a Pottsboro teenager killed last in a rollover accident on FM 120. Pottsboro police say speed might have been the cause of the crash that killed the 18 year old woman.

A white cross already marks the spot where the teenager lost control of her Volkswagon Jetta and flipped several times. The accident happened on FM 120 around 10:00 p.m. Saturday night, just north of the Tanglewood entrance.

Police have not released the name of the victim, but say she graduated from Pottsboro High School last year and might have been heading home when the crash occurred.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Texoma Medical Center where she died a short time later. A candlelight vigil was held Sunday evening at the scene of the crash.
