7-15-05 - An 87-year-old Durant woman was robbed at gunpoint by two men Friday morning. It happened in a home in the 100 block of North Gates Avenue just before 11am.
Police say two hispanic men kicked open the woman's front door. One man held a gun on the woman while both searched the house for valuables. The escaped with a small amount of jewelry and money. The woman wasn't hurt, but the gunmen left her lying face down on the living room floor as they fled.
Police say both men were in their 20's with short hair. They appeared to be clean cut and around 5'6" tall.
