7-19-05 - An inmate at the Bryan County jail is accused of going berserk inside a county courtroom on Monday. Twenty-eight-year-old Brandon Curnutte was being arraigned for a probation violation when he lost it.
Authorities say when he found out he could potentially go back to prison, Curnutte yelled and cursed at the judge. Even though he was handcuffed and shackled, he managed to beat his head against a railing and kick another inmate. But within seconds, a jailer got him under control.
Once they got him back to the jail, they had to restrain Curnutte in a chair with straps.
