The babysitter convicted of killing a little girl years ago in Gainesville tried take her own life twice recently.
Kim Stevens is now on intense suicide watch in the Cooke County Jail. The first attempt was with a razor blade. The second attempt, which authorities aren't commenting on, ended with her Careflighted to a Dallas Hospital.
The Cooke County Sheriff said they are working with the state to get her moved to a penitentiary that can properly care for her.
Stevens was convicted of killing two-year-old Jordan Saager five years ago.
