OU Student Pleads No Contest; Gets Three Years Probation

8-4-05 - There will be no jail time for the first University of Oklahoma student who was charged after the alcohol-related death of another student last fall.

Cody Barrington pleaded no contest to a felony charge of providing alcohol to a minor and was given three-years probation. He was NOT accused of giving alcohol to the student who died, Blake Hammontree.
