9-3-05 - A Sherman murder suspect who was on the run for more than a month was captured in Fort Worth on Friday morning.
Michael Kimmel is accused of the shotgun murder of 18-year-old Gerry White. He was gunned down on July 13th at the Brooks Manor apartments.
Authorities arrested Kimmel on Friday on an aggravated robbery charge. Texas Rangers and Sherman detectives brought him back to the Grayson County jail this afternoon.
Kimmell faxed KXII a letter last month, admitting to the killing but claiming it was self-defense.
