9-14-05 - Oakland, Okla., a small town in Marshall County, is being investigated by state auditors for embezzlement.
KXII first reported in April that family members of loved ones buried in the Oakland Cemetery were complaining that the cemetery was being neglected.
Assistant District Attorney Paulie Haggerty says they met with auditors yesterday, and the audit of cemetery funds will begin next week.
It was determined that $15,000 was missing. The audit should take about two weeks to be completed.
