GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- Christmas is still seven months away, but Grayson County officials are already planning changes to the Holiday Lights display.

Thanks to a $24,000 grant from the Smith Foundation, officials will expand the warehouse where volunteers store the lights and put up six new light displays, including one that may be constructed on the lake.

Officials say they hope the upgrades will draw more people out to see the lights. Those lights start shining at the end of November and continue through the end of the year.

Great news! My only hope is that when the Holiday Light season comes they will make sure the people know to take the Crawford St exit (68) not Loy Lake exit. I can't get down my street for all the cars trying to turn around because they are trying to go in the exit. Remember people Crawford St.
