POTTSBORO, Tex. -- A Pottsboro man fell 50 feet off a roof Thursday afternoon near Pottsboro.

Preston fire Chief Allan Vols says the man was lying on the roof of a home on Lake Point Loop leaning over the edge to pressure wash the side of the house when the man slipped and fell off.

The homeowner called 911, and Vols says when they arrived on scene the man was alert but had various fractures to both arms and his left leg.

Vols says the man was airlifted to Parkland Hospital in Dallas in serious condition.
