GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- A man who ran from Grayson County Sheriff's investigators after drugs were found in his car in July has been arrested.

Twenty-eight-year-old Lawrence Greer III, of Boynton Oklahoma, has been charged with evading arrest and drug possession.

Grayson County deputies pulled over a white sedan on U.S. Highway 75 on July 31. They say the driver, now identified as Lawrence Greer, gave permission to search the vehicle, but when deputies began searching the trunk, he ran off into the woods.

In the trunk, authorities found about 35 pounds of marijuana.

The sheriff's office arrested Greer after several weeks of investigation.

His bond is set at $55,000. Greer could face additional federal charges.

He just needed to go pee. He ran from spot to spot, and the police just wouldn't give him any privacy. At least, that is what he told me.

His bond is more than his pot was worth. How much more will this cost us. I'd rather put the guy in jail who kidnapped and raped a women in front of her children.
