HILL COUNTY, MT -- The father and stepmother of an 11-year-old Bokchito girl who authorities say carried her remains across the country will be extradited back to Oklahoma to face charges. Abel and Denise Wolf appeared in a Hill County, Montana, court Thursday afternoon.

OSBI investigators say Cheyenne Wolf was last seen in April of 2008. They believe that after she died her father and stepmother put her body in plastic bags and then took her remains along with the family each time they have moved since then. The family has moved from Oklahoma to Oregon and Montana since 2008.

Montana authorities say the Wolfs are being held on a fugitive complaint. First News learned late Thursday they will be extradited back to Oklahoma to face charges of unlawful removal of a dead body.

Bryan County officials will be transporting the two back to Oklahoma in the coming days.
