ARDMORE, OK-- AT&T has a new program that will allow you to cash in on your old mobile devices.

The trade in program allows customers to bring in their old devices to a company owned AT&T store where they can get a credit toward new products or to pay their bill.

AT&T said the store will send your old device off to be reused or recycled so it is not only a benefit for the customer but the environment.

AT&T spokesperson Emily Lang said the average customer got back about 80 dollars when trading in their old devices.

I don't think I would ever go back to AT&T after changing carriers years ago. AT&T is not the only provider to offer trade-in programs. To each his own but in my opinion AT&T just doesnt have very good plans. Unless it's changed, they do not offer unlimited data and there have been times where because of "company changes", you were forced into paying for things you didn't want or need. I'll stick with Sprint.
