Ada musician struck by lightning

ADA, OK - An Ada musician died Friday night after being struck by lightning.

61-year-old Ray Marshall was found face down in his drive-way shortly before midnight Friday by his wife Debbie.

According to the Pontotoc County Sheriff's Office, Marshall had suffered burns to his face, feet and chest.

Marshall's obituary states he was the owner of Marshall Construction and the founder of the Ada Opry.

Services for Marshall were held Tuesday afternoon at the Union Valley Baptist Church.
