ARDMORE, OK--The Ardmore Executive airport is getting new tools to help day to day operations.
Monday the federal aviation administration approved $110,000 grant. The money will allow the airport to update their geographic information and global positioning systems.
The systems will help tell pilots where the airport is located and inform them of their surroundings.
General Services director Bruce Cypert said the non commercial public use airport will also benefit several area businesses. The update for the systems began in September and are expected to be complete within the next 6 months.
