Ardmore woman accused of murder goes to trial

ARDMORE, OK - The trial for an Ardmore woman accused of shooting her husband last October began Monday morning.

39-year-old Lavonda Sue Pinnick is charged with murdering her husband 51-year-old Vernon Love.

Love was found dead Oct.15 in his home on West Main Street.

Police said he suffered a single gunshot wound to the head.

The District Attorney's Office said Pinnick's trial will pick back up Tuesday morning.

She is just one of fourteen defendants that are scheduled to face a jury term in the Carter County District Court between now and Aug. 24.
