A Moderate to Enhanced risk for severe storms has been issued for Texoma. Storms look to become strong to severe and will be firing up around 11am. Primary threats include heavy rainfall leading to flooding, large hail, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado is possible as well but chances aren't very high. STEPHENS COUNTY, OK - Road conditions are being blamed for a fatal wreck Sunday morning in Stephens County.
The accident happened around 3 a.m. about half a mile west of County Road 294.
OHP reports state 25-year-old Misty Eggers of Marlow was driving east on Highway 7 when she hydroplaned and went off the roadway.
Eggers was pinned for approximately two hours before being freed by the Velma Fire Department.
Troopers said she was not wearing a seatbelt.
