Carter County gets new assistant district attorney

ARDMORE, OK - Carter County has a new assistant district attorney.

District Attorney Craig Ladd said Carson Brooks joined his staff on Sept. 4.

Ladd said Brooks is an experienced attorney who will be an asset to the Carter County office.

Brooks, a Ringling native, will primarily be assigned to cases involving delinquent and deprived children.

Brooks graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1998 and received his law degree from Oklahoma City University.
