DENISON, TX-City officials also decided to table the proposed new sign ordinance Monday.
Chief Building Official, Dale Jackson, said the proposed ordinance would differ from the current ordinance in that it would not allow electronic signs to move, flash or scroll. Home improvement signs would be allowed, along with temporary religious signs.
If approved, the Building Appeals Board would enforce the ordinance instead of the Zoning Board. The council will take it up again, in January.
