BONHAM, TX-Fannin County Commissioners discussed how they can fix some water leaks at the courthouse Monday.
County Judge, Spanky Carter, said they've had problems with the roof before so they made repairs last year. But, because of last week's rain, water began seeping into the building again causing water damage on the 2nd floor and the county clerk's office.
Commissioner, Jerry Magness, said they are trying to find the most cost-effective way to fix the problem.
"Water is the worst thing on a building and it's just something that all of us feel that needs to be done. It's something that needs to be taken care of," he said.
Carter said a roofing consultant will assess the damage.
