Durant man sentenced on federal drug and weapons charges

MUSKOGEE, OK-A Durant man is headed to federal prison for drug and weapon charges.
Michael Lynn Cash has been sentenced to 35 years for possession of methampethamine with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and drug trafficking.
Investigators said Cash was arrested March 2011 when Durant officers found meth and a handgun in his car while doing a search at a traffic stop.
Cash is in custody of the U.S. marshals.
