ARDMORE, OK - A former Carter County jailer finds herself on the other side of the law after she was allegedly caught forging checks.
Carter County court records Stacie Sampson was stealing checks from a local business and cashing them at the Walmart in Ardmore.
An affidavit states since February, she has illegally obtained over $4,500 from the business.
Sheriff Ken Grace has confirmed Sampson was fired from her position for personnel reasons. He declined to comment on her charges.
