ADA, OK - A former Pontotoc County detention officer who admittedly helped two inmates escape from jail is headed to prison.
43-year-old Jerrianna Kindrick pleaded no contest Thursday to an assisting in prisoner escape charge. Kindrick was sentenced to two years in prison and fined almost $900.
Pontotoc County Sheriff John Christian said Kindrick admitted she helped 32-year-old Johnny Brown Jr. and 23-year-old Mark Matthews escape from the county jail last September. The two men were caught a short time later in Oklahoma City.
