HEALDTON, OK - The City of Healdton has hired a new city manager.
Charles Clark was appointed the position during Monday night's city council meeting.
Clark is a former Sulphur city manager.
He says he will formally take over for former Healdton City Manager Louis Smitherman tomorrow.
The city voted not to renew Smitherman's contract in May.
Smitherman said the council told him it was because he hadn't finished several ongoing projects.
