Wednesday and Thursday are Weather Aware days due to the potential for locally heavy rainfall. Beware of flooded road-ways and never drive around barricades or into water more than six inches deep. High rainfall rates may reduce visibility and also increase the risk of hydroplaning. Turn around, don’t drown! Isolated strong thunderstorms may develop late Wednesday afternoon, but widespread severe weather does not appear to be likely at this time.
LEBANON, OK - A Marshall County woman returned home from running errands Wednesday morning to find her home fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters said the blaze broke out around 10:30 a.m.
The home off Powell Road is a total loss.
Investigators said they believe the cause is electrical.
No one was seriously hurt but a Lebanon firefighter was treated on scene for smoke inhalation.
Red Cross was on scene to assist the firefighters and homeowner.
