A combination of very strong winds, falling temperatures and frozen precipitation will make Wednesday and Wednesday night dangerous for motorists. Freezing rain and sleet will change to snow before ending late Wednesday or early Thursday. Wind chills of 5 to 10 degrees...with air temperatures in the low 20s...can be expected. Roads will be icy Thursday morning but should melt during the day as skies clear and temperatures rise above freezing.
DAVIS, OK - I-35 in Murray County is now reopen after being shut down briefly Thursday afternoon.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol temporarily shut down the inside southbound lane of I-35 at mile marker 50.
Trooper said wrecker needed the space to help remove a truck that got stuck in the center median.
The lane was closed for about twenty minutes.
