TISHOMINGO, OK--Two grass fires in Johnston county are being considered suspicious after they sparked within hours of each other and on the same road.
The first fire off Preston and Blue River Roads started around 10:30 this morning. The second in the same area sparked later this afternoon.
The second one caused more damage, burning 300 to 500 acres.15 departments battled the flames for several hours.
Firefighters believe the fire was intentionally set because there was nothing near the road that could have ignited the flames. Firefighters said nobody was hurt and no structures were damaged.
