LEBANON, OK - The large brush fire that started Sunday in Love County continues to burn Monday.

Love County Emergency Manager Tracey Smithwick said so far 3,000 acres have burned. Smoke can be seen for miles.

The brush caught fire Sunday around noon near Love Valley Rd. and S.H. 32 on the banks of the Red River.

Smithwick said at this time no structures are in danger but winds have caused the fire to spread into Marshall County.

Firefighters said they are hoping the fire will go out on its own because it is near impossible to get down to the fire. Right now, it is under control.

No word on what started the fire. It has been labeled as suspicious.
