LOVE COUNTY, OK - Several Love and Carter County fire departments will practice their life saving skills at Lake Murray this week.
Organizers said Tuesday through Thursday evenings, the cabins on Lake Murray will be turned into a training facility for the counties firefighters.
They said crews will practice search and rescue, instant command and fire ground operations.
The training will wrap up Sunday when crews practice going through a smoke filled cabin.
Program leaders said fire departments training together is important because it allows the different departments to work together in case called on to fight large fires.
Organizers say all fire departments are welcomed to join in. If you would like to participate you can call Love County Emergency Management at 580-276-5861.
