ARDMORE, OK - An official with Valero confirms that a man who had to be taken from the Ardmore Valero refinery to the hospital Monday night has died.
Bill Day with Valero's corporate office said the man was a contracted worker with Cat-Spec Limited. Our calls to Cat-Spec were not immediately returned.
Police said they sent an ambulance to the plant around 10 p.m. Monday. It is unclear whether the man died due to a medical issue or an industrial accident.
APD is not investigating the death.
