Man injured in Lake Texoma boat explosion

MARSHALL COUNTY, OK - A man had to be flown to a Dallas hospital after his sailboat exploded on Lake Texoma this morning.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the owner was working on his boat in a slip at the Caney Creek Yacht Club when it happened.

Investigators are still looking into what caused the boat to ignite.

At least two other surrounding sailboats were burned during the fire.

OHP has not released the name of the injured man.

His condition is not known at this time.

News crew needs to get story straight before anouncing it. It was not a sailboat and he was cleaning after taking a family out fishing. He has 2nd degree burns over 40% of upper body. Hands got the worst. He is my Uncle and I know the truth.
