DAVIS, OK - A young man with down syndrome has been found safe.
Davis emergency management said 23-year-old Brantly Slocum was found around 3:30 Sunday afternoon.
Authorities said Slocum was on vacation with his family at Turner Falls and wandered away from the cabin around 10:30 Sunday morning.
He was found about a mile and a half away.
Emergency personal said Slocum was dehydrated but is expected to be okay.
"He was found," Davis Emergency Manager Darryl McCurtain said. "He walked up to some of the people we had assisting in the search. It is a great big relief for the searchers and im sure the family as well. So everything is okay."
The Davis Police Department, Murray County Sheriff's Office and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol were all involved in the search.
