Mountain View Mall to undergo renovations in 2013

ARDMORE, OK - Ardmore's city manager said 2013 will be a year of improvement for Ardmore.

City Manager JD Spohn said through an incentive package with the developer of Mountain View Mall, the mall will undergo a complete renovation. Several new retailers, including a TJ Maxx, will also be added to the mall. This project is expected to begin early 2013.

"We are doing everything we can to promote Ardmore and bring in new retail business and improve our sales tax base," Spohn said.

Spohn said the city will start another big project in 2013, the sewer infrastructure project which is funded through sales tax.

That project is expected to be complete around 2016.
