DURANT, OK-Oklahoma state troopers join law enforcement agencies across the nation to crack down on drinking and driving.
The "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign runs from now through Labor Day weekend.
OHP said ten people were killed over Labor Day weekend in 2010 and five of those fatalities were alcohol-related.
Trooper James Reinecker said they will be out in full force looking for impaired drivers.
He said Labor Day weekend is one of their busiest holidays.
"This one is the last one of the season, so people are anxious to go out for that last time and have fun. It's great to have fun just make wise choices and like I said before, designate a driver beforehand," he said.
Anyone caught driving while intoxicated will face jail time and fines.
