OSBI completes embezzlement investigation into Love Co. Sheriff's Office

MARIETTA, OK - The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has completed their investigation into some missing money in the Love County Sheriff's Office.

OSBI began looking into a possible embezzlement at the sheriff's department last week. A call from the Love County District Attorney prompted the investigation.

OSBI PIO Jessica Brown declined to give an amount on the missing funds. Brown said charges will be up the the DA.

Our calls to Love County Sheriff Joe Russell and Undersheriff Jason Bone have not been returned.
