Oklahoma Unemployment Numbers Stay Low
ARDMORE, OK---New unemployment numbers show Oklahoma remains below the national average and last month the number of Oklahomans returning to work actually increased.

ARDMORE, OK---New unemployment numbers show Oklahoma remains below the national average and last month the number of Oklahomans returning to work actually increased.
Wes Stucky with the Ardmore chamber of commerce said Oklahoma's unemployment numbers have not changed much over the past five years.
Carter County's unemployment rate is steady at 4.7%. While the state of Oklahoma is at 5.8%. Both lower than the national unemployment rate which sits at 8.6%. Stucky said it the diversity of employment in Carter County that contributes to its success.
