PONTOTOC COUNTY, OK - Oklahoma Highway Patrol is conducting a month long operation in Pontotoc County that targets aggressive and illegal drivers.
Operation Ticket Aggressive Cars and Trucks began June 1.
OHP said seven permanent troopers patrol Pontotoc County.
This month as many as thirteen troopers from Troop F will patrolling the county.
Officials said they plan to be extra strict on speeding, drivers not wearing their seat belt and drivers who do not have a license or are uninsured.
They said during Operation T.A.C.T, those driving without a valid license or insurance will be arrested and the vehicle will be impounded.
