PARIS, TX -- A Paris woman was found dead in her home last night and police are investigating her death as a homicide.
Investigators say 43-year-old "Donna Barrett" was found dead in her home on the 2300 block of Ballard Drive around 9:30 last night.
According to a press release family members were concerned after Barrett did not show up for work that morning. Police were called after family members spotted Barrett's vehicle at an apartment complex and could still not contact her. Relatives later forced their way into Barrett's home and found her dead.
The body has been taken to the Medical Examiners office for an autopsy. Police say they are exploring several leads, but no arrests have been made at this time.
