DENISON, TX - Hundreds of people were seeing pink Friday night in downtown Denison, during the Women Rock first annual Pink Parade.
Dallas Cowboys' mascot "Rowdy" kicked off the festivities.
Dozens of people lined Main Street to watch floats, a race car and Women Rock's pink fire truck roll down Main Street.
Breast cancer survivor, Rozlyn Austin, served as grand marshal.
Women Rock founder LuAnn Daniel says this is a fun way to celebrate survivors and raise awareness of early breast cancer detection.
After the parade, folks hit the Rialto for a showing of "Some Like it Hot."
Daniel, says the community support is overwhelming.
"I just have a big thank you from the bottom of my heart. Locally, the support has really grown in the past few months and that feels so good," she said.
KXII is a proud sponsor of Women Rock, Inc.
