POTTSBORO, TX-Pottsboro may have a new police chief within a month.
City manager, Kevin Farley, said 27 people have applied for the position, two from within the Pottsboro Police Department. He said they may be able to narrow it down to 12 candidates by next week.
Whoever is selected will be taking the place of former chief Brett Arterburn, who resigned last month.
