DENISON, TX -- Denison Police say they arrested a registered sex offender who was found in bed with a teen girl yesterday morning.
Police say a mother called and said she found 34-year-old Jerohmy Dewayne Blackwell in bed with her 16-year-old daughter. Officers say Blackwell lied about his identity when he was questioned at a home in the 38-hundred block of Texoma Parkway.
Police say he also resisted arrest resulting in minor injures to officers. Authorities say Blackwell said he had a relationship with the girl for the past year. Among other charges, Poilce say he's been charged with "Sexual Assault of a Child".
