SOWC suggests water restrictions

ARDMORE, OK - The Southern Oklahoma Water Corporation is asking customers to start rationing their water consumption.

SOWC said due to the extremely dry conditions, equipment failures and the need reserve water for fire protection, they are asking you to limit the amount of water used for non-essential purposes.

They said that includes things like outdoor watering.

The restriction applies until further notice.
