SHERMAN, TX-Sherman has a new fire marshal.
Division chief Jamie Baggs was appointed to the job after two years in the department. Fire chief Jeff Jones said Baggs has been training for his new role as fire marshal and will start Monday.

"It takes me way out of my comfort zone but I'm willing to accept that challenge and do the best I can," Baggs said.

Chief Jones said former fire marshal, Nathan Huffman, no longer works for the city effective Monday. Huffman was arrested last month for DWI.
