TOM BEAN, TX-Tom Bean Police sports a new look Wednesday afternoon wth the help of some local businesses.
Their newly designed patrol cars took the streets for the first time Wednesday. It has been wrapped with a new design by Texoma Wraps, featuring the city's high school colors: orange and black, along with the police department's logo.
Tom Bean Police Sgt. Brandon Blair said not only does it change the department's image, but it's also an entry for the "International Police Vehicle Design Contest", hosted by a law enforcement magazine, "Law and Order."
If Tom Bean's entry wins, Sgt. Blair says the patrol car will be featured in the magazine.
