HEALDTON, OK -- Two young men were arrested in Healdton while under the influence of drugs and alcohol Friday.

Police say 22-year-olds Aaron Bailey and Christopher Kirkland face charges of possession of imitation controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Officials say they were called out to Healdton Lake to find both men intoxicated and in possession of K2.

Officers say they have faced drug charges before.

The two are currently being held in the Carter County Jail.

There is not even a federal ban on K2 yet. But I guess when you live in south Oklahoma you have to deal with the police making up the rules as they go along! You would think the cops there would be more worried with the real crime that happens there? Amazing! Only in S. Oklahoma!

No there isn't a federal ban on K2 yet. But it is against the LAW not rules in Oklahoma.

I'm glad they arrested them if they don't stop this k12 from being out there more if our kids are going to be in the ER sick from it and you never know what if they lace it with something else and lure in some young girls it could be a bad situation. Thank you officers for doing your job. I'm dreading my daughter having to be in these times with kids smoking wired stuff huffing things that kill you what happen to grapevines being the only thing kids smoked

Yes, they have faced drug charges before....andthey will face drug charges again I am quite sure. Why shouldn't they? What is the deterrent? Maybe 5 year of HARD LABOR in prison would change their minds, but these liberal democrats would never go for something so "harsh" and "unfair" so, here we are.

Maybe you hadn't noticed, but "conservative" Republicans, not liberal Democrats control the government in Oklahoma.
