Water restored in Wapanucka after pipe leak

WAPANUCKA, OK - Residents in Wapanucka should have running water again.

Wapanucka Fire Chief Gary Reeder said water should have been restored around 2 p.m. Saturday. Reeder said it was shut off around noon Saturday while the water department repaired a leak.

The town is still under a voluntary boil order.

A meeting to resolve Wapanucka's water issues is set for Tuesday at 7 p.m. at city hall.
