MARSHALL COUNTY, OK -- There is a water use advisory for Marshall County residents who receive water from Oakview Water Corporation.

The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality has advised the business to inform its residents and users of water use precautions.

DEQ says the advisory was issued due to the presence of E.coli. and that if used the water should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute.

DEQ officials say the advisory is only for those who live in Oakview and that residents will be notified when the water is safe for human consumption.
