Winter Weather Watch issued for the Christmas Holiday

Travel problems should be anticipated on Christmas Day.
The cold front has moved to our south with the upper level low expected to move along the Red River Tuesday. We can expect rain and thunderstorms after mid-night tonight with a change over to rain/sleet and snow by mid-morning along I-35 and north of hwy 70. Change over to sleet and snow by Noon hwy 82 north to hwy 70, and changing to sleet and snow from 82 south to I-20 around 2 pm. Texoma can expect 1-4 inches of snow with gusty winds of 30 mph, blowing snow reducing visibilities and wind chills near 10. Texoma will see TRAVEL PROBLEMS from Noon Christmas day into Wednesday Noon.
